JBLM Job Fair Showcases State Employment Opportunities

Among the task fair’s objectives was to help people discover about career opportunities and how their skills line up with them, Gentz stated.
Education is a crucial benefit of attending a job fair, as about 40% of those who start with the TAP learn they’re “not ready to make that jump yet,” or they have actually seen the available opportunities and choose to continue serving, Gentz said.
“We see that basically every year,” he stated. “We want them to make an informed decision about their profession.”
